Red-Carpet Kiss Between Halle Berry And Adrien Brody Was Fine With His Girlfriend Georgina Chapman

Adrien Brody’s girlfriend Georgina Chapman had no problem at all with he and Halle Berry recreating their red-carpet kiss from the 2003 Oscars.

“It was [quite the moment,] wasn’t it?” Chapman, 48, told Extra. “I mean, how can you deny a man a kiss with Halle Berry?”

Chapman and Brody, 51, have been dating for around five years. Extra said Berry had previously revealed that Chapman was “fine” with the kiss.

“[Brody] was more than fine,” Chapman joked to the outlet in response.

The Academy Awards shared a video of the viral moment on social media, and the clip shows Berry, 58, telling Chapman, “I’m sorry Georgina, but I gotta do it,” just before she plants a kiss on Brody.

“Surpriseee @adrienbrody!! I had to get some payback,” Berry wrote on Instagram alongside a video of the surprise red carpet kiss.

Brody won his second Best Actor Oscar for his performance in “The Brutalist,” which follows a Hungarian architect in the U.S. in the postwar period.

During his acceptance speech, Brody thanked “my amazing partner [Chapman], who has not only reinvigorated my own self worth but my sense of value and my values and her beautiful children, Dash and India, I know this as been a roller coaster but thank you for accepting me into your life and Popsie’s coming home a winner.”
