Princess Kate is looking forward to having her family back together.
The Princess of Wales, 44, stopped by Café 98 after visiting a children’s hospice on Thursday, October 22, where she had a sweet chat with a young boy.
According to Hello!, the boy told the royal — who shares Prince George, 13, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8, with husband Prince William — that it was his last day before school break, to which Kate responded, “My children break up tomorrow and I can’t wait to have them all home.”
A woman named Denise Ashton claimed, per the outlet, “[Kate] said she’s looking forward to George coming home — she’s missed him. They may be going somewhere [during the break].”
“Half-term is a good time to catch up on family life,” Kate added, as seen in a video shared to social media.
Kate’s remarks were her first on the topic since Prince George began attending Eton College, following in his father, Prince William’s footsteps.

“The Waleses have had a fabulous summer, but it’s back to reality, and George’s upcoming stint at Eton is of course a huge focus for the whole family,” a source previously told Star in August, ahead of George’s big move.
“It’s fairly common knowledge that she would have preferred George to attend a day school,” the insider noted. “It’s definitely a bittersweet situation and Kate’s struggling with the fact that George won’t be home every day.”
