Prince William and Princess Kate rarely speak publicly about their relationship, but after getting engaged in 2010, the future king and queen sat down for a nearly 18-minute-long interview with ITV News to discuss their love story — and clear up a laugh-out-loud rumor.
“There’s a story that goes the rounds, that you had a picture of him on your wall as a child,” journalist Tom Bradby told the bride-to-be, 44.
“There wasn’t just one,” William, 43, joked. “There was like, 10, 20.”
“He wishes,” Kate fired back. “No, I had the Levi’s guy on my wall, not a picture of William, sorry.”
Added William, “It was me in Levis, honestly.”

Elsewhere in the interview, William opened up about his decision to propose to Kate with Princess Diana’s iconic sapphire and diamond engagement ring.
“I thought it was quite nice because obviously, she’s not going to be around to share in any of the fun and excitement of all this,” he explained. “This is my way of keeping her sort of close to it all.”
The couple, who will celebrate their 15th wedding anniversary in April, also found another way to keep his mother’s memory alive.
They gave their daughter Princess Charlotte, 10, the middle name Diana. Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle chose the same moniker for their daughter Princess Lilibet, 4, and they even hung a photo of the late Princess of Wales in 6-year-old son Prince Archie’s nursery.
