Prince Harry Says Meghan Markle’s Cooking Is ‘Not as Good’ As Her Mother’s in New Netflix Special

You can count on Prince Harry to keep it very real in the kitchen.

The Duke of Sussex, 41, stole the spotlight with a cheeky cameo in Meghan Markle’s new Netflix holiday special, With Love, Meghan: Holiday Celebration — and during the special he tossed in a special ingredient of his own: a playful roast of her home-cooked gumbo.

According to Page Six, Meghan, 44, whipped up a Christmas feast alongside celebrity chef Tom Colicchio when Harry wandered in, announcing, “I smelled gumbo.”

But, per the outlet, the sweet moment took a hilarious turn the second he tasted it.

“Gumbo, for me,  is one of my favorites…especially your mom’s,” he quipped — instantly sending Meghan into mock outrage as cameras caught her jaw dropping.

Harry doubled down, teasing, “It is delicious. I’m not so sure it’s as good as your mom’s, but it’s certainly close,” before coughing and admitting the spicy andouille sausage was “puncturing through the top of my head right now.”

Meghan explained her mom, Doria Ragland, always sets aside a milder version for Harry at Christmas: “My mom does the turkey sausage for you!”

The festive special also showed Meghan honoring Harry’s British traditions of making Christmas crackers and an Advent calendar for Archie and Lilibet.
