Prince Harry is said to be worried sick about King Charles III and the toll that Andrew Mountbatten Windsor’s recent arrest is reportedly taking on the cancer-stricken monarch, 77.
“Harry is in touch with his father, but Charles is very much the stiff upper lip type. He’s not going to admit to feeling down,” a source tells Star. “So, Harry’s having to reach out to other people in his world,” including Princess Kate, “to try and get the real picture of just how hard this is all hitting him.”

After stepping down as senior working royals in 2020, Harry, 41, and wife Meghan Markle settled down in Montecito, California, where they live with their two young children, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4.
“Harry hates the idea of his father going through all this when he’s across the ocean,” says the source. “He feels like he should be there to help and he’s offered to jump on a plane [but] Charles is insisting he’s fine and not to worry.”

That has done little to ease the Duke of Sussex’s mind though, notes the source, especially amid the backlash surrounding Andrew, 66, who has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing, and his recent brush with the law.
Should Kate, 44, “or anyone else [tell] him he should be there, he’ll be on the next flight,” says the source, adding that Harry isn’t going to force Markle, 44, to return to England with him. “He knows it’s not the right time, but it will be sad to be arriving there without her and the kids.”
