She struck back at the idea that she’s following ex-boyfriend Ben Simmons and his new girlfriend, Kendall Jenner, and that she lied about the texts he sent. Earlier this month, Tinashe arrived at a club where Kendall and Ben were already partying. When she left, she told a paparazzo that she saw the new couple inside, and that Ben was texting her even though he was with his new girlfriend! “He’s an idiot,”
she said on camera.

Ben was reportedly pissed and thought Tinashe was following him. He was apparently thinking of hiring security to protect himself from the 5’5” singer. Reports at the time claimed that she lied about the texts too.

But now Tinashe has had enough! She posted
a long note on social media setting the record straight. “Look, I usually never comment on things that are completely untrue and ridiculous, but this narrative has to end,” she wrote. “The fact is, I was in love, and I got hurt,” she said of her short-lived romance.

“The details of what have happened since are complicated to say the least, but I’ve never lied. And of course I’m not a stalker lol,” she wrote, striking back directly at reports to the contrary.
