'It Was Very Emotional' — Inside Teresa Giudice's Return Home

Teresa Giudice was finally released from Danbury Correctional Facility on Dec. 23, and her return home was nothing less than touching.

After a brief primping session, the 43-year-old returned to her Towaco, New Jersey home at 5:30 in the morning.

Her husband Joe Giudice, 43, was anxiously awaiting for her in their garage.

Their four daughters, Gia, 14, Gabriella, 11, Milania, 10, and Audriana, 6, waited inside.

“It was very emotional,” Teresa’s lawyer James J. Leonard Jr. told RadarOnline.com.

“It was a private moment but it was very emotional, very powerful and it was something to see,” he explained.

“Gia was up early this morning and then the younger ones started to get up,” he continued. “I think they got a little bit of sleep. I got no sleep. Teresa says that she didn’t sleep at all. Joe slept a little bit. I think everyone is going to sleep well tonight, myself included.”

He also shared a special message from the Real Housewives of New Jersey star —“‘Merry Christmas. Happy New Year….all of you should go be with your families and your loved ones.'”

As Star previously reported, Teresa will spend her first Christmas out of prison with her immediate family, including her brother Joe Gorga, 36, and sister-in-law Melissa Gorga, 36.
