Rihanna threw her fifth annual Diamond Ball on September 12 in New York City. The event, which raised money for the Clara Lionel Foundation, gathered together celebrities including Cardi B, Karlie Kloss, Normani and Megan Thee Stallion. DJ Khaled walked the red carpet with his wife, Nicole Tuck, who just announced that she’s pregnant with their second child. New mom Kehlani strutted her stuff with her new boyfriend YG. Seth Meyers hosted the night, and performers included Pharrell.
Rihanna, 31, started her charity in honor of her grandparents, Clara and Lionel Braithwaite. The organization supports and funds global education and emergency response programs. It also works on advocacy to improve the quality of life of children around the world.
The Barbados native has had a busy week. She held her second New York Fashion Week show for her lingerie line, Savage x Fenty, at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on September 10. The extravaganza, which featured supermodels and multiple music performances, will stream on Amazon Prime later this month. The “Love On The Brain” singer is also hard at work on her next album, her best selling makeup line and her new luxury fashion label.
