A 2-year-old boy from Nebraska was grabbed and attacked by an alligator at a Disney hotel in Orlando, Fla. on June 14.
Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings stated that the boy's father fought with the alligator in an attempt to rescue him at the Seven Seas Lagoon, but was unsuccessful.
He also reported that there are "no swimming" signs around the area, and nobody else was in the water where he was snatched from.
