Nick Gordon is maintaining his innocence in the court case against him for the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown.
The 24-year-old has long-time been accused being the one to blame for putting Whitney Houston‘s daughter in the hospital, later leading to Bobbi Kristina’s death. The allegation follows claims that Nick had been fighting with his late girlfriend before giving her a toxic cocktail that rendered her unconscious.

But even after her passing, his fear of incriminating himself even further has lead Nick to take every possible action to delay the $40 million lawsuit.

Reportedly the former boyfriend’s attorney has filed a motion asking the court to stop the suit until criminal investigation and proceedings have concluded.

The attorney claims that Nick has
become a victim of negative attention that would make him “unfairly, legally, and financially prejudiced should he be subject to parallel criminal and civil proceedings” because of Bobbi Kristina's high-profile family.

But as it stands, Nick is indicted for murder, habitual battering of women, seducing young white females, thievery for monetary gain, and being a sort of "chemist" that makes dangerous drinks.
