Fans were stunned over the weekend when news broke that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth were splitting, less than a year after their December wedding. Then photos surfaced of Miley making out with Kaitlynn Carter, who’d just announced her split from The Hills star Brody Jenner. After some shots were fired on social media, Miley, 26, took to Instagram to majorly diss Brody.

It all started when Brody, 35, posted a
photo of himself on a cliff. He wrote in the caption, “Don’t let yesterday take up too much of today.”

told reporters about the split. “I don't want to talk about it, mate.”

have agreed to separate at this time,” their rep said in a statement on Saturday, August 10. “Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what's best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”
