Khloé Kardashian’s Heartbreak! Why Lamar Odom ‘Can Only Recognize A Few People’

According to a family insider, his overdose at The Love Ranch on Oct. 13 has caused extensive brain damage that could be permanent.

"Physically, he is stable," the source said."But his mind isn't what it was before. He doesn't remember everything and can only recognize a few people."

“Doctors still don’t know the extent of the damage,” explains the insider. “And his confusion is only getting worse.”

His estranged wife, Khloé Kardashian, 31, had hoped he would be well enough to leave Cedars-Sinai Medical Center by his birthday and must be struggling to cope.

She only spent 30 minutes at the hospital with him on Nov. 6, and was spotted with James Harden, 26, later that week.

“She wants Lamar to leave the hospital and come to her house, where she can organize rehab and medical care for him,” says the insider. “She’s not saying she wants to get back with him, but she sees him as a sick guy who needs help, and she’s dedicated to that."
