Lamar Odom is opening up about his marriage to Khloe Kardashian in his new book. The former NBA player’s memoir, Darkness To Light, chronicles their seven-year marriage, including his struggles with drug use and cheating.
In the book, the 39-year-old admits that he threatened the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star’s life while he was on drugs. After using cocaine and ecstasy, he screamed, “I’ll f**king kill you! You don’t know what I’m capable of!”
The couple, who married only a month after they met, divorced in 2016. During their marriage they also starred in their own reality show, Khloe & Lamar.

He also thought he was being surveilled. “They could read my thoughts. They were in my phone,” Lamar wrote. “They were in my head. They were in the walls.”

In his anger, he started to destroy their house with a golf club. “I just kept swinging and ripping out the drywall,” he wrote. “Before I was done there were dozens of gaping holes in the walls. The golf club was bent in half.”

Khloe and Lamar married in 2009. Their divorce was finalized in 2016, a year after he suffered a near fatal overdose.

Khloe, who had already filed for divorce, stepped up to help take care of him before they split for good. He’s since gone to rehab and is in recovery.
