Bizarre Dating Standards — Kirstie Alley Admits Her Future Man Must ‘Love The Monkeys'

What does Kirstie look for in a man? A genuine love of primates.

On Jan. 12, the funny girl made an appearance on The Meredith Vieira Show, which turned out to be very memorable, to say the least!

"I need a man who loves the monkeys!" the actress exclaimed to the surprise of the audience. So why this random love for primates one might ask? Turns out the actress is a proud owner of lemurs – a shocking 14 of them!

"[Lemurs] are one of the few primates that you can actually bring little kids, anybody in, and they will sit on your lap and you're safe," Kirstie explained.

Though the actress seemed to love her monkeys, but feels less so about men. Even though the Look Who's Talking star dropped a whopping 50 pounds and is looking more ravishing than ever, she still feels “discouraged” by the dating scene.

“I think that women might sort of take a dip in their early 40s … and then I think women resurge,” Kirstie continued.

“What I want in a man is someone to [take action] – they don't need to jump out of planes, they need dreams, passion, future."
