Khloe Kardashian Contracts 'Incredibly Painful' Staph Infection While Visiting Lamar Odom In The Hospital!

Now, it has been reported that the 31-year-old fitness fanatic has contracted a staph infection from her constant contact with Lamar. When you add a compromised immune function due stress and constant travel, with close contact with the bacterial cesspool that is pretty much any hospital environment, that could be a recipe for a nasty infection, as is the case with Khloe.

Star told you that the 36-year-old ex-basketball player was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel October 13, after having overdosed on "virtually every drug imaginable", and subsequently suffering kidney, heart and lung failure, as well as multiple strokes.

Recovery for the former NBA star has been slow, and he will need months, if not years, of physical therapy, as he is still relearning to walk and talk again. While Khloe maintains her relationship with her 26-year-old boyfriend James Harden, she's still been consistently by Lamar's side, and a constant fixture in his hospital room.

The boisterous Kardashian has a leg lesion that is "incredibly painful" and she's also "developed a high fever, swollen glands. She’s also sweating profusely with intermittent chills,” revealed a source. “It’s so scary. She’s so sick.”

Later in the evening after her diagnosis, Khloe tweeted, "Signing off...Antibiotics + painkillers + tweeting does not equal anything good lol". Still being able to connect with her fans via social media is a good sign that she may soon be on the mend!
