Prison Terror! Khloe Kardashian Let Go From Jail After 30 Minutes — Why She Was Blamed For A Scary Riot

During Wednesday night’s episode of Kocktails With Khloe, Kardashian recounted her dark past with alcohol. She revealed to guests that when she got her DUI in 2007, she recalled her terrifying punishment, and how the situation quickly spun out of control.

"It’s so stupid, what I did. That’s why they send you to the morgue, because they want you to see people that have passed away from a DUI driver, but seeing bodies being embalmed, I don’t think that is really healthy for kids to see. That was a little dark,” Khloe told her guests during the April 13 episode.

“It was so traumatizing, and I had to serve three days in jail, but I only served 30 minutes… because they started rioting at the jail because I was there,” the reality star admitted.

This is not the first time Khloe has struggled with alcohol. In Strong Looks Better Naked, she writes about partying at 19 to relieve the grief of her father’s death.

“I didn’t turn to drugs,” she said, “but I certainly drowned my sorrows in drink.” Her 22-year-old arrest for DUI “was a brief wake-up call,” a source told OK!, “but she barely got a slap on the wrist."
