Amber Heard In Fear For Her Life After 'Intoxicated' Johnny Depp Allegedly Tried To 'Suffocate' Her With A Pillow, Reports Claim

New allegations have surfaced that shed light on Johnny Depp's "violent attack" on Amber Heard, which allegedly took place in their L.A. penthouse just days before the blonde officially filed for divorce.  

As Star readers know, the 30-year-old beauty's split from her hubby of 15 months quickly escalated after she was granted a temporary restraining order due to Johnny's alleged physical and mental abuse throughout their relationship.  

The abuse claims quickly caused a heated media backlash, which included the 52-year-old actor's ex and baby mama, Vanessa Paradis who called the allegations "outrageous", and longtime friend Doug Stanhope who dismissed them as an act of blackmail. UPDATE: Heard has sued Stanhope for defamation, insisting his claims were false and caused "tremendous harm."  

As a result, the blonde bombshell now stands to make a statement about Johnny's alleged abuse to LAPD officials, in hopes of opening up a police investigation.  

Since then, their split has taken an even nastier turn, since a close friend of the blonde's — who claimed to have "personally witnessed the aftermath of Johnny Depp’s violent and abusive behavior" —  has now spoken up about the incident.

The pal claims Amber texted her during the alleged incident, after which she rushed to her friend's aid, only to find her "with a cut and bruised lip, a swollen eye and a chunk of hair missing from the top of her head,” in the apartment. “This incident really stuck with me," she confided to The Post in an exclusive interview.  

"She confided in me that day that she feared for her life after an intoxicated Johnny tried to suffocate her with a pillow,” she claimed.
