Who’s Telling The Truth? Shocking Developments On Johnny Depp & Amber Heard's Divorce Battle

Amber Heard isn't being shy about dragging Johnny Depp's name through the mud ever since she filed for divorce  — but Johnny's striking back!  

As Star readers know, the once golden couple's split took a turn for the worse after the 30-year-old blonde was granted a temporary restraining order after she said that Johnny, 52, verbally and physically abused her throughout their relationship.  

Since then, the Pirates Of The Caribbean actor — who's been in Europe touring with his band, The Hollywood Vampires — has been on a war path to discredit his former flame's damaging accusations — and so far it's not looking good for Amber.  

Now, Johnny's group of supporters — which includes the actor's ex and baby mama, Vanessa Paradis, and long-time friend Doug Stanhope — are taking drastic measures to prove Johnny's estranged wife wrong. Doug recently published a story on The Wrap, saying that Amber is "manipulating" and "blackmailing Johnny by telling about his domestic abuse." On June 3, Heard filed a defamation lawsuit against Stanhope, insisting his claims were false and caused "tremendous harm."  

The blackmail allegations came on the heels of Amber being spotted with gal pal Raquel Pennington, laughing and seemingly in high spirits, much in contrast to when she was last photographed leaving an L.A. courthouse with bruises and a distraught look on her face.
