Jennifer Lopez just dropped her new single “El Anillo,” which translates to “The Ring.” On Thursday, the singer stopped by The Tonight Show to promote her hit song, and one day later her boyfriend Alex Rodriguez also appeared on the late-night program to talk about his latest happenings, but also the hilarious story behind the first time he heard his girlfriend’s major lyrical hint.

“I’m reading the piece of paper like this and it’s the song,” A-Rod said of one night in the recording studio with J.Lo. “I know nothing about music. I read the song and I go, ‘Babe, it sounds like they’re talking about us.’ And she goes, ‘Yeah! They made it for me.’
