Jayme Closs was found on Thursday, January 10, three months after she first went missing from her Wisconsin home. Her disappearance was discovered on October 15, 2018, when her parents Denise and James were found murdered inside their house. “On Thursday evening Barron County Sheriff’s Department was notified by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department that
they had located Jayme Closs, alive,” Baron County Wisconsin Sheriff
Chris Fitzgerald stated. “Shortly after this, a suspect was taken into custody.”

“It was a split-second decision,” a source close to the investigation told

“The man had the specific intent to abduct and torture Jayme — she was malnourished and dehydrated,” the source continued. “The things Jayme went through are so disturbing, so demented and sickening that the most twisted horror director couldn’t recreate it.”

Jake was “hiding in plain sight.” “He went about his day — nothing changed, according to neighbors,” the source told Radar. His cabin was deep in the woods.

Jake has been arrested for both Jayme’s kidnapping and her parents’ brutal murders. Police located him using the description of his car Jayme gave them.
