The Today show host Hoda Kotb adopted her first child, Haley Joy, in 2017. Now, the anchor surprised her co-hosts again and announced she’s adopted a second child, Hope Catherine. “She is laying on the pillow right now,” Hoda said about her new baby. “I'm feeding her. I can't believe it. Like I'm sitting here and, you know, you think that maybe you have gotten what you deserve, but man, I'm so happy she is here.”

They asked how Haley was adjusting to her new sibling. Hoda said, “She is digging it. At breakfast she was trying to feed her raspberries. I was like, ‘Not yet, babe.’ She was literally marching around saying, ‘I'm a big sister.’ Like, I mean, she did try to crawl into her bassinet.”

She described what the moment of Hope’s birth felt like for her and boyfriend
Joel Schiffman. “On that moment I was like, ‘My god, my heart just grew ten times.’ It's amazing. Anyway, I just, I can't believe it's happening, y'all. I can't.”
