Farrah explained to
Radar Online that she believed her mom was acting "kind of b***hy" — and that wasn't captured by the MTV camera crew.

“I was upset with her and I wouldn’t let her watch Sophia because I didn’t really think that she was prepared for that and for as long as a month,” she explained. “We just weren’t really getting along and were clashing.”

“I just felt like [it was] selfishness,” she said. “I was just seeing some of the traits that we work hard on in therapy becoming issues again, and so I was getting very upset because the work we’re trying in therapy wasn’t really working at the time.”

"It’s a work in progress,” she admitted. “I always continue working on our relationship with my mom. I love her.”

But Farrah also commended her mother for all the progress she's made since they make their TV debut in 2009.

“I think everyone’s seen it,” she said. “My mom has changed so much over the years from the first 16 & Pregnant where we saw her slapping me in the car and driving me crazy, it’s now we can talk.”

“We see where we are going and where we want to be in our relationship,” she continued. “So I know that she has improved and I know that we are working towards a better relationship for both of us.”

“Today we’re doing great,” Farrah said, adding that they're working on a Mom & Me wine for a Rooftop Wine Festival together.
