While at the community center, the Duchess of Cambridge listened to the stories of mothers who were affected by the Grenfell Tower blaze and praised the charity workers for their efforts in supporting the victims affected by the tragedy which claimed 71 lives earlier this summer.

The Trust has been instrumental in its efforts to help survivors of the fire and has raised funds for families, many who were left homeless during the holiday season.

According to the Kensington Palace, the center “provides support for local families by running programs for children and parents such as homework clubs, sporting activities, social groups and tuition.”
