The woman who fatally shot her two daughters outside her Fort Bend County home and was later killed by police officials, has been identified as 42-year-old Christy Sheats.
Police official arrived at the scene around 5 p.m, after shots had been fired in the area.
Christy was found armed outside her home near the bodies of Madison, 17, and Taylor, 22 after a domestic dispute turned fatal.
One of the mother's victims died on the scene, the other died in the hospital from her injuries.
The father, Jason, whom has recently reunited with the shooter, was also at the scene but managed to escape and has since been hospitalized duo to emotional trauma.
Police opened fire on the Texas native after refused to drop her weapon. She was killed on the scene.
