A toxicology report showed that at the time of his death the 52-year-old rocker had Butalbital, Pseudoephendrine, and Lorazepam in his system. A drug called Narcan, that is commonly used to reverse the effects of opiod overdoses, was also detected. It is believed EMT’s administered the drug in an effort to save his life.

“He didn’t want to die,” Vicky told People.com. “If he was of sound mind, I know he wouldn’t have done this.” It’s most likely her strong convictions about the cause of her husband’s death led Vicky to fly to Detroit and visit the Medical Examiner’s office seeking answers.
