But Caitlyn's anxiety may work itself out since according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, male-to-female transgender inmates who have completed all forms of gender-reassignment surgery (meaning both "top" and "bottom" procedures) are housed in a women's facility, while those who've only had some surgery remain in the men's facility.

"She can't imagine not seeing or talking to her loved ones—or even to the therapists and doctors she sees weekly," the source says. "The only time she can get this whole ordeal off her mind is right after her therapy sessions; she still replays that accident in her head over and over every day. She says she'll never get over what happened."
