6 Times Blake Shelton Let Miranda Lambert's Rumored Affairs Be Just That Before His Long Fuse Went Out

1. Even before marrying Blake Shelton in 2011, Miranda Lambert allegedly had an affair with two other men—one of them being Blake's best friend, Jamey Johnson, in 2007 at the Country Radio Seminar. Members of Jamey's own entourage found out about the tryst when, looking for Jamey, they checked his tour bus. "They thought he was just there taking a break," a source told Star in 2013. "But when they walked to the back of the bus and opened the door to the lounge, they found Miranda on top of Jamey, having sex with him!"

2. Then, there was fellow country star, Eric Church, who Miranda also attempted to get physical with. According to a report, back in 2010 Miranda periodically joined Eric on his tour bus, where she "just wouldn't keep her hands off" him and "began getting really frisky” until her advances were rebuffed, a source claims.

3. Shelton had his suspicions about Miranda and former Major League Baseball star Josh Beckett, a source tells Star. "Blake heard of this affair," a source close to both him and Miranda says, "but he never received enough solid evidence to prove that she actually carried on with it. So, Blake dropped it and chalked it up as a rumor."

4. Word in both of the stars' camps was that one alleged Miranda affair that Blake knew about—and which Star can reveal exclusively—was with then rising star Jerrod Niemann, the opening act for her On Fire tour. According to Star's source, Blake found out about that romance on July 4, 2012.

"The story is that Blake and Miranda were on their way home from the lake after a Fourth of July gathering with friends and family," a source relates. "Blake was driving Miranda, who was drunk after a day and night of partying and noticed that she couldn't stop texting."

When Miranda fell asleep, Blake snatched her phone and saw a long string of texts between her and Niemann. "Blake scrolled through the entirety of their conversation and discovered that they had been carrying on an affair for months as they toured together."

After finding the messages, Blake then drove Miranda straight to her parents' house and gave her an ultimatum: Kick Jerrod off the tour and go to rehab, or Blake was gone. "Blake told Miranda she would have to go to rehab if they were to save the marriage," explains the insider. "Along with the cheating, he said her attitude had become unbearable, especially toward their team of employees."

5.  Then, in 2013, along came Ryan Westbrook, the manager for her Locked & Reloaded tour (not to mention, he was married and had two kids). Since Shelton had to spend long stints away from her filming The Voice, Ryan was there for her every day. And according to the source, Miranda was smitten. "Blake discovered that Miranda had feelings for Ryan [Westbrook] after a member of Miranda's band told Blake," says the source. It was then that Blake confronted her.

Once again, Blake told her to get her act together, but this time Miranda hesitated. "Blake had threatened Miranda with divorce so much that it started getting old to Miranda," explains the source. "She never thought that he would actually go through with it."

6. It's suspected that Shelton and Lambert's good friend and fellow country star, Ashley Monroe, was one of the whistle blowers about Miranda's many alleged affairs. "Ashely knew about Miranda's many affairs," says a source. "She is very close with both Miranda and Blake, so it was hard for her to feel like she was in the middle. She didn't want to be part of it, but she also hated that Blake was in the dark about his wife." But Blake "would never reveal it" if Ashley told him about Miranda's cheating, says a source.

"Blake truly believed that he and Miranda would end up together in the end, and he never wanted to divorce her. He took her back time after time." But Shelton's long fuse finally ran out.
