The Big Little Lies actress filed for divorce from the “Fighter” singer on September 30, just one day after reports circulated that the couple had spent the summer living separately. According to multiple reports at the time, the decision to separate was Urban’s.
The Daily Mail reported that the divorce decree “ensures that all property, from household furniture and appliances to vehicles, bank accounts, investments, and personal items, is divided to the mutual satisfaction of both parties, with each keeping what is already in their possession.”
The now-exes met at a G’Day USA gala in Los Angeles in 2005. The pair were engaged by May 2006, when they announced the news during a gala for the United Nations Development Fund. Kidman and Urban tied the knot in Sydney in June 2006.
