Miley Cyrus ‘Only Wants Direct Family’ to Attend Intimate Wedding to Maxx Morando
Miley Cyrus is excluding Billy Ray Cyrus girlfriend Liz Hurley from her wedding to Maxx Morando to protect mom Tish Cyrus on her big day.
Don’t bother checking out their gift registry! According to a source, bride-to-be Miley Cyrus won’t be inviting dad Billy Ray Cyrus’ girlfriend, Liz Hurley, to her upcoming wedding to Maxx Morando.
The source says the 33-year-old “has nothing against” Liz, 60, but is simply “trying to protect” her mom, Tish Cyrus, 58, after her difficult divorce from husband of 29 years Billy Ray, 64.
“Tish is number one in Miley’s world and anything that’s going to make her the least bit uncomfortable is just not going to happen,” says the insider. “Miley doesn’t want to be worried about anything, or thinking about how Liz and her mom are getting along on her wedding day.”
Tish’s new husband, Dom Purcell, will be on the list, however. “They’re married, so Miley considers him family now,” says the source. “Miley thinks Liz will understand. She’ll just be straight with her and explain why she only wants her direct family there.”
