Miley Cyrus’ Hope For a ‘Peaceful Wedding’ in Jeopardy Amid Her Family’s Ongoing Rifts

She’s just started to enjoy her engagement, but Miley Cyrus is already worried about what her wedding to musician Maxx Morando is going to look like. Several members of her family can’t stand being in the same room with each other! Namely her mom, Tish Cyrus, who wed Dominic Purcell in 2023, and her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus.

“Miley’s mended fences with her father, but he’s still on terrible terms with Tish and Dominic,” a source tells Star (the exes’ rocky relationship included two previous divorce filings). “It’s going to be a nightmare.” Miley’s half-brother Trace is also on bad terms with Billy Ray, having called him out for previous bad behavior.

Then there’s the prenup, which the 33-year-old will no doubt require to protect her $160 million fortune. Maxx, 27, on the other hand, was reportedly still living with his parents when he and the “Flowers” singer began dating four years ago. According to one news outlet, signing the document was a sticking point for Miley’s first husband, Liam Hemsworth.

“Miley just wants a beautiful, peaceful wedding,” says the source. “Actually pulling it off is going to be incredibly stressful.”
