Mila Kunis made a rare solo red carpet appearance at Netflix‘s Tudum event on May 31, drawing online attention amid the ongoing sex trafficking trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs, a former friend of Kunis and her husband, Ashton Kutcher.

The 41-year-old attended the Netflix event to promote her upcoming film, Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Story, alongside her costars.

Dressed in a dark brown suit and high black heeled boots, Kunis later joined writer/director Rian Johnson and a star-studded cast including Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, and Cailee Spaeny on stage for a promotional segment of the mystery movie.

Kunis’ public appearance comes as her and Kutcher’s past association with Diddy has faced intensified scrutiny in recent months, following the rapper’s September arrest.

Diddy, who has pleaded not guilty to all charges, is facing five charges across three federal indictments, including sex trafficking, conspiracy racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Since Diddy’s arrest, images of the music mogul with past associates — including Kutcher, who was reportedly friends with Diddy for approximately 20 years — have circulated on the internet.

In addition, a 2019 Hot Ones interview clip featuring Kutcher also resurfaced, leading to backlash. When asked to recall a memory from one of Diddy’s parties, Kutcher responded, “Wow. OK, I’ve got a lot I can’t tell.”

He then paused, adding with a laugh, “I can’t tell that one either.” Kutcher has not been implicated in any crimes and has not publicly commented on Diddy’s alleged offenses.

In October, a source told the Daily Mail that “Ashton absolutely regrets his friendship with Diddy, considering what has happened. He feels lied to, betrayed, taken for granted and manipulated.”

The insider also noted, “He feels the same way about Danny Masterson,” referencing Kutcher’s That ‘70s Show co-star, who is serving a 30-year prison sentence for rape.

“He now trusts no one except his wife, Mila. He is going to keep his circle to his family,” the source added. The couple previously faced criticism in 2023 for submitting letters to the judge in Masterson’s case, seeking a reduced sentence.
