Reality TV’s own cowboy king Steve McBee has officially been sentenced to time in federal prison.
According to a story published by The U.S. Sun on Thursday, October 16, the McBee Dynasty star, 52, was handed 24 months behind bars and ordered to pay $4,022,124 in restitution for orchestrating a crop insurance fraud scheme.
McBee’s sentence arrives less than a day after Bravo renewedThe McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys for a third season.

In November 2024, per People, McBee pleaded guilty to submitting fraudulent crop reports — underreporting yield data for his 2018 corn and soybean harvests — to reap roughly $3.16 million in unauthorized benefits.
A judge also imposed two years of supervised release and required McBee to surrender by December 1.
According to The U.S. Sun, Bravo cameras appeared to be on hand at Thursday’s ruling — so McBee Dynasty fans may be able to watch the drama unfold in the near future.
