Lori Loughlin ‘Can’t Bring Herself to Hate’ Ex Mossimo Giannulli: ‘He’s Got A Real Hold On Her’ (Exclusive)

Lori Loughlin still has a soft spot for her ex-husband Mossimo Giannulli amid their potentially nasty divorce, a source tells Star.

“It’s becoming very apparent that Mossimo treated Lori like dirt for years, he was clearly being inappropriate with other women,” the source says of the fashion designer, 62, adding that that those close to the Full House alum, 61, also blame him for their involvement in the Varsity Blues college admission scandal and subsequent prison sentences.

Her friends and costars, including John Stamos and James Tupper, “are disgusted” by Giannulli’s behavior and are “encouraging her to go for his throat in court and not look back,” says the source.

But after nearly 28 years of marriage, “Lori can’t bring herself to hate Mossimo and even now she’s still finding ways to defend him,” says the source.

“One excuse she keeps making is that he’s going through some type of midlife crisis or post-prison trauma,” the source continues, “which her friends and even their kids [daughters Isabella Rose, 27, and Olivia Jade, 26] are dismissing as total B.S.”

“Still, she’s trying to see the good in him and is pushing hard for them to attend therapy together,” the source adds. “It’s like she can’t let go, even after all the hurt and pain he’s put her through. He’s got a real hold on her.”
