Reeling from a bad breakup, Jessica moves across the pond hoping to create her own version of rom-coms like Bridget Jones’ Diary and Love, Actually. While she immediately meets a hot guy (Will Sharpe), he’s no Mark Darcy, or even a Daniel Cleaver.

Instead he’s broke, in a band and seems to have a drinking problem. And Jessica comes to realize she’s hauled a lot of her own baggage across the Atlantic. But like Emily in Paris, a hunk with an accent and a heroine seeking love and a new life in a foreign land are reasons enough for us to tune in.
