At the end of season 1, rabbi Noah (Adam Brody) and non-Jewish podcast host Joanne (Kristen Bell) were trying to figure out how to move their relationship forward. In season 2, the two are still navigating their complicated path to happily ever after… while their families seem to run interference at every turn. Everybody wants to see this unconventional but lovable couple make it.
