Kim Kardashian’s Family ‘Testing How Well’ Lewis Hamilton ‘Fits In’: F1 Driver Must ‘Prove’ Himself

Kim Kardashian‘s family is putting her relationship with Lewis Hamilton to the test.

“As hot as he and Kim are for each other, Lewis is still little more than a ‘friend of the family’ when it comes to the rest of the Kardashians,” admits a source, adding that the reality TV star’s sisters and momager Kris Jenner “still see this phase of the relationship as a trial period” and are “all testing how well Lewis fits in with the family dynamic.”

Fortunately, the Formula One driver, 41, is no stranger to performing under pressure.

“Despite his undeniably dangerous, death-defying day job, Lewis has a calm, cool personality, especially compared to some of Kim’s exes,” the source reveals. “He’s not an unhinged adrenaline junkie, not even close! He clearly lives by the motto ‘never let them see you sweat.'”

As Star previously reported, Hamilton checks every single box for Kardashian, who wants marriage and kids with the 7-time F1 world champion.

But “for all of Lewis’ success” on and off the race track, notes the source, “he still has to prove that he can fit in as an eventual stepdad to Kim’s kids.”

The Skims mogul, 45, shares four children — daughters North, 13, and Chicago, 8, and sons Saint, 10, and Psalm, 7 — with ex-husband Kanye West.

“So far, it’s going well, but that’s strictly a function of how much time Lewis is putting in to impress everybody,” says the source. “He’s trying to show that he’s a solid guy” and that “he’s here to stay and isn’t going anywhere.”
