Kim Kardashian’s Instagram picture is worth a thousand words — literally.

The Skims founder, 45, had a lot to say on the highly anticipated second part of her interview with sister Khloé Kardashian on the Khloé in Wonder Land podcast, which was released Wednesday, January 28.

When the Good American founder, 41, asked her sister about Meghan Markle, Kim immediately knew she was referring to “the photogate” following mom Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday bash in November. After the Kardashians posted Instagram pictures from the event that included the Duchess of Sussex, 44, and husband Prince Harry, 41, they were allegedly asked to remove them.

“It was really innocent, which is so crazy,” Kim began, setting the record straight on the headline-making drama.

“Mom and Meghan have been friends for some years now, and they have a really sweet relationship,” Kim continued. “We took a photo, and then I think we were all going through them. We’re all communicating about what we’re going to post. We’re never ones to post without permission. It’s not who we are.”

After Kim and Kris were allegedly given the greenlight by the Sussexes to share what Khloé called the “dignified” photos from that night, “I think they realized it was Remembrance Day,” said Kim, which is observed in the United Kingdom in November.

“They didn’t want to be seen at a party, even though it’s already up,” Kim claimed, adding that the Kardashians agreed to have them taken down. “And then I think they realized, ‘This was so silly!’”

Though Khloé pointed out that Meghan and Harry attended the Baby2Baby Gala right before the momager’s star-studded celebration, Kim said it was likely that they didn’t want to be seen “partying and dancing on the dance floor.”

“You just got to laugh at the situation sometimes,” Kim said, adding that she thought about trying to “lighten it up” by staging a fake Skims campaign shoot, posting it, taking it down 30 minutes later and saying: “I didn’t have permission to post those photos.”

“That would have hit!” she said. Instead, “I hated how that was received for everyone. That sucks. It was just made into something that was so crazy and ridiculous that just didn’t have to be.”
