Kim Kardashian Planned Britney Spears’ Meet-Up With Longtime Hairstylist Chris Appleton
What a difference a blowout makes! On June 1, stylist to the stars Chris Appleton posted an Instagram pic with a sleek-haired Britney Spears looking nothing like her usual disheveled self. Calling the 44-year-old’s music “the soundtrack to so many moments,” Chris, 42, gushed, “Never in a million years did I think I’d one day be standing behind the chair (or in this case her standing behind mine, lol) styling her hair.”
An insider tells Star fellow client Kim Kardashian planned the style sesh. The 45-year-old, who had a sleepover with the troubled pop princess not long ago, is eager to support Britney, especially after her March DUI stop and stint in rehab (she pleaded to a “wet reckless” and paid a fine). “Kim sees Britney as a very sweet, well-meaning character,” says the source. “She says it’s the least she could do to hook her and Chris up.”
