Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton ‘Deliberately’ Kept Romance Quiet, Have Been Dating ‘for a While’

The photos sent the internet into a tizzy. Kim Kardashian was spotted mixing business with pleasure on a romantic weekend getaway with Lewis Hamilton while in England for a NikeSKIMS pop-up event, per Page Six. The business mogul, 45, and the British Formula 1 driver, 41, were seen checking into Estelle Manor, a luxury hotel and country club in Oxfordshire, where they reportedly indulged in a couple’s massage. The two then jetted off to Paris, arriving together at a hotel in the City of Light, where Kim was scheduled to make an appearance at a Nike store on Feb. 2. Afterward, they continued to fuel rumors by enjoying a private three-hour dinner at the romantic Japanese rooftop restaurant Aqua Kyoto. Days later, they would sit side-by-side at the Super Bowl.

“Kim and Lewis have been seeing each other for a little while now, and they’ve deliberately kept things low key and under the radar,” a source tells Star. “They’re smitten and having fun, but at the same time they don’t want to jinx things by diving in and getting too serious, too soon.”

It seems they’ve been hiding in plain sight. Acquaintances for years, the pair have been slowly getting closer amid their busy lives and commitments, notes the source. “They make the most of things when their schedules allow for them to be together.”

Shifting Gears

Kim hadn’t been looking for love when Lewis revved into her life. “You get really comfortable the longer you’re single,” the mom of four, whose last relationship, with Odell Beckham Jr., ended in 2024, confessed on the Nov. 13 episode of The Kardashians. “The thought of you sharing a bed or your TV shows with someone else becomes less and less appealing because you get set in your ways.” That being said, the thrice-divorced star hadn’t sworn off the idea of meeting someone either. “I’m the biggest hopeless romantic,” Kim conceded. “When the right person comes along, I’ll be so ready.”

And she was. “Kim has had a good break from dating. She’s recharged her batteries and enjoyed her independence,” says the source. “But at this stage, she’s ready to branch out, and settling down with the right guy is definitely appealing.” Lewis, a seven-time Formula 1 champion who’s worth an estimated $450 million, checks all of the billionaire’s boxes. “It’s important for her at this stage of her life to be matched with someone who’s independently successful,” says the source. “Part of the reason she’s stayed single so long is because she wanted to take her time and find a guy who’s able to match her success, handle the limelight and not be intimidated by her fame level either.”

On Track

Kim and Lewis have been in each other’s orbit since at least 2014, posing for a photo with their then-partners Kanye West and Nicole Scherzinger at the GQ Men of the Year ceremony. More recently, they both showed up to support mutual pal Pharrell Williams at his Louis Vuitton Paris Fashion Week Show in 2023 and attended Kate Hudson’s 2026 New Year’s Eve party in Aspen. “He really impressed her whenever they’ve run into each other socially,” says the source, adding that it’s a “real bonus” that Kim’s gotten to know Lewis “pretty well as a friend” before deciding to “explore their romantic feelings for each other.” It’s especially important after her very public, very bitter split from Kanye. “She feels certain she can trust Lewis,” says the source. “And that counts for a lot.”

Having been romantically linked to Gigi Hadid, Shakira and Nicki Minaj, Lewis is also used to the “scrutiny and pressure” that comes with dating someone like Kim, adds the source. “He’s been through that before and is well equipped to handle it.” Which is music to the Kardashian family’s ears. Momager Kris Jenner is thrilled her daughter has finally found someone, says the source. “She’s very high on Lewis and delighted to see Kim enjoying herself with someone who’s a clear winner. The whole family is buzzing and keeping their fingers and toes crossed it works out.” Kim is hopeful for the future, too. “She and Lewis have a great vibe. They’re wildly attracted to each other, and she’s quietly confident that this is the start of something very special.”
