Kelly Osbourne Shares Heartbreaking Post About Celebrating Her First Birthday Without Late Dad Ozzy
Kelly Osbourne shared an emotional Instagram post ahead of her birthday on Sunday October, 26.
The singer, 41, reflected on facing her first birthday without her father and best friend, rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away in July.
“Tomorrow is going to be a first for me. The first birthday without my dad,” she wrote. “Every year the thing I looked forward to the most was spending the day with him and the cards he would write me… I love you Daddy, tomorrow will suck without you 💔”.
The post also featured several personal photos, including one from her childhood where she’s held closely by her father, who smiles softly at the camera.
Osbourne ended the post with a photo of birthday cards from her father, signed, “To Kelly, I love you, Daddy” with lots of kisses, among other birthday messages.
One of the most touching replies came from her friend Barbaranne Wylde, the wife of Ozzy Osbourne’s longtime guitarist, Zakk Wylde, who wrote, “Breaks my heart Kell. Happy Birthday tomorrow. I know he will send you a little sign- he’s with you always ❤️ I love you”.
