Inside Keanu Reeves and Alexandra Grant’s Low-Key Wedding Plans

They live their life outside the spotlight, and hope to get married the same way. Keanu Reeves and Alexandra Grant, who were friends and artistic collaborators for years before they started dating, have quietly been making plans to elope, according to a source. “Even though Keanu is a movie star, he actually doesn’t like having all eyes on him, he’s quite shy,” says the source. “So they’re talking about scrapping the idea of a big wedding and just running off together somewhere to get married, just the two of them.”

The John Wick star, 60, and the visual artist, 52, went public with their romance in 2019, but have always relished their alone time. They often travel together, and are known to steal away on scenic motorcycle rides. Even when they show up to support each other in public, kissing on the red carpet at film or art events, they often seem lost in their own private world. “Keanu and Alexandra are so engrossed in each other, their thoughts, ideas, habits and experiences, that they don’t pay much attention to the outside world,” says the source.

On April 7, the pair were spotted clinking glasses during a romantic lunch at London hotspot Scott’s. (The pair also dined there last fall.)

Adds the source of their downsized wedding, “It wouldn’t suit their personalities to put on a big show. They’re far too shy, too internalized, to let the world in on this.”
