Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson’s ‘Dawson’s Creek’ Reunion Wows Fans: ‘They Look So Good Together’

Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson posed on the red carpet together at a New York City screening of Brunello: The Gracious Visionary on Tuesday, April 14 — and had Dawson’s Creek fans swooning.

“They look so good together 😍❤️,” gushed one fan of the pair, who starred on the teen drama from 1998 to 2003.

“Their outfits are coordinated too!” another wrote of their Brunello Cucinelli looks. The Ice Storm actress wore a white button-down shirt with a shimmering gray maxi skirt that matched the Fatal Attraction actor’s pants and tie, which he paired with a rich wine-colored blazer.

“They make an adorable couple,” added another fan, echoing hopeful sentiments that the stars, both 47, might rekindle their past romance.

The costars dated for about a year in 1998, and Holmes even hinted that Jackson was her “first love” in a Rolling Stone cover story at the time.

“We were kids,” Jackson told U.K. newspaper The Times in 2023, “so it was a full-on stars-moon-sky romance.”

But by the time their characters got together onscreen, they were just friends.

Holmes went on to date actor Chris Klein, then famously wed Tom Cruise in 2006. When that marriage ended in 2012, Jackson said they reconnected. “Like any old friend, it was like, ‘Oh, hi how are ya? What’s going on?’ ‘I had a kid’ ‘Yeah, that’s crazy, I heard!’ It was nice, it was very nice, actually,” the Affair alum said on a Canadian talk show that year (via E!).

They also kept in touch while she was linked to Jamie Foxx, Emilio Vitolo Jr. and Bobby Wooten III, and he had a 10-year relationship with Diane Kruger, a four-year marriage to Jodie Turner-Smith and a rumored romance with Lupita Nyong’o.

Last year, the pair reconnected again to play a couple again in the movie Happy Hours, which Holmes wrote and directed. “Working with Josh after so many years is a testament to friendship,” she wrote on Instagram. “HAPPY HOURS is a love story that includes so many people I adore. We can’t wait for everyone to see what we make.”
