One minute you’re exploring the French countryside with your hot fling, the next you’re jumping off your apartment balcony to escape armed assassins who are mysteriously pursuing you.

When Tom (Sam Claflin) disappears from the seat next to her on a train, Alice (Kaley Cuoco) finds her romantic trip has turned into a nightmarish odyssey. Cuoco is great as the baffled American, while the French setting adds some je ne sais quoi allure to the compelling story.

Vanished | Premieres Sunday, Feb. 1, on MGM+
