Julianne Hough Hilariously Honors Bet With Brother Derek By Wearing Bald Cap on ‘DWTS’

Julianne Hough gave Dancing with the Stars fans something to laugh about on Tuesday, October 28, when she debuted a strikingly bald look in a new Instagram post captioned, “Someone had to do it…. @derekhough 😜 #dwts.”

The playful jab came after her brother, Derek Hough, jokingly promised to shave his head if he won the title of People‘s Sexiest 40-Year-Old in the 2025 Sexiest Man Alive Reader’s Choice Poll, an honor he officially earned during the show’s Halloween episode the same night.

Backstage, Julianne, 37, confidently struck a pose in a sleek, long-sleeved black jumpsuit with a cinched waist and plunging V-neckline. Though her smooth, bald “head” was clearly a realistic cap, she fully committed to the bit and really sold the look.

Meanwhile, Derek, 40, took to his Instagram Stories after the show to admit he’s still unsure about taking the razor plunge, polling his followers with, “Should I shave it?”

He also playfully teased his sister in her comments, writing, “You would you weirdo 😂” Julianne, meanwhile, joined in on the fun in her own comment, joking, “My head’s cold.”
