Olivia Munn says her 3-year-old son Malcolm “loves” watching his dad John Mulaney on TV.

Munn, 44, shares Malcolm and 7-month-old daughter Méi with the 42-year-old comedian, and told People on Tuesday that the toddler often visits the set of Mulaney’s Netflix series “Everybody’s Live With John Mulaney,” and now recognizes him on TV.

“He clocks it and he says things to John, and he said the other day, he was like ‘You had so many guys stand in a diagonal line,’ and it was for like … a height thing,” the “Your Friends and Neighbors” actress told the outlet. “Malcolm goes to set and he sees the same Mother Robot. He knows everyone there, so he recognizes John on TV and remembers it.”

Munn later shared a clip of the interview on Instagram alongside the caption, “Malcolm loves watching daddy’s Netflix show Everybody’s Live every Wednesday.”

On the Monday after Easter, Munn shared a relatable Instagram post about some of the more difficult aspects of parenting a toddler. Alongside photos of Malcolm holding her hand while walking along a New York City sidewalk in just his socks, Munn described relief at making it home after a series of tantrums.

“Im posting this for all the parents who thought it would be great to take advantage of the beautiful weather and took their toddler on a walk only for them to lie down screaming on the floor of Whole Foods, run through the aisles of CVS screaming ‘I dont like anyone!!’ and knocked over your iced tea before your first sip, all while carrying your 7-month-old strapped to your body,” she wrote.

“After all of that, he insisted on walking home without his shoes. And in a moment which I can only describe as total exhaustion, I said okay,” she wrote. “This Easter Monday will live in infamy in my memory as the day I tried my absolute best, got us home without another tantrum and learned that the rubber padding on toddler socks can only take so much.”

Mulaney, for his part, compared parenting a toddler to what he imagined working on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” must have been like during a recent episode of his Netflix series. The daytime talk show ended five years ago following toxic workplace allegations.

“Having a 3-year-old is what I imagine working on Ellen [DeGeneres] show was like. Because people come over and theyre like, How is it? And youre, like, Oh, its fine. You know, we have fun. Theres games’,” he said. “We have dancing, you know. So if he starts dancing, you dance. But if he stops dancing,” he continued, shifting to a more ominous tone, “You fing stop dancing right away.”
