Jennifer Love Hewitt’s Love Letter

It’s a shocker that Jennifer Love Hewitt is only now starring in a Lifetime holiday movie. But the 45-year-old made the wait count: She cowrote, produced, directed and stars in The Holiday Junkie — and tapped her husband, Brian Hallisay, to play her love interest to boot! “My main job was to just, like, look at him and be with him and fall in love with him again,” she recently told New York Magazine. “We kind of ended the movie going, ‘Wow, all married people should have this opportunity.’”

Her hubby wasn’t the only one who got the love. The 911 actress and author of Inheriting Magic: My Journey Through Grief, Joy, Celebration, and Making Every Day Magical, dedicated the movie — about a woman mourning the loss of her mom — to her late mother Pat, a true Christmas junkie. In the movie, the actress even used a glitter Santa from Pat in the movie and dubbed her character’s mom Mimi, Pat’s nickname. “There’s lots of, like, little things laid in there.”
