An insider says the “On the Floor” singer, whose parents were born on the island, was more than just proud of their shared roots — she’s hoping to collaborate with him! “She is loving seeing him win,” a source tells Star of the 31-year-old (real name Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio). “She also can’t help but think of her career and how his success could benefit her.”

The Monster-in-Law actress has had some career setbacks, including the failure of the big-budget movie musical Kiss of the Spider Woman in 2025, a canceled tour in 2024 and her poorly received self-financed album and documentary. “She’s very stressed about her popularity right now, and is convinced that teaming up with Benito could give her the boost she needs,” explains the insider, noting that J.Lo would be up for a duet or guest spot. To that end, says the source, “She’s planning on inviting him and his entourage to a big party.”
