The 55-year-old has been enjoying a flirtation with her Office Romance costar Brett Goldstein, 44 — the duo reportedly snuck off to a private cabana after canoodling at the film’s wrap party. Now a source says the recently divorced J.Lo is just in it for the ego boost.
“Brett serves a purpose: He’s doting on her, showering her with compliments, and he’s very good company,” the source tells Star. “Jennifer’s saying it’s just a bit of fun.”
The source suggests the A-lister is still getting over her split from Ben Affleck following their whirlwind romantic redux in 2022 — decades after they first broke up.
“She’s stuck on Ben, whether she admits it or not,” says the source, noting that the Ted Lasso star, previously linked to Beth Rylance, “may fit the bill for now, but friends aren’t counting on him lasting beyond the movie’s premiere.”
