Jennifer Garner Spreads Love and Leaves With a Tree-Planting Day In L.A.
The always down-to-earth Jennifer Garner shared a heartfelt day from Julian C. Dixon Park on Instagram Saturday, October 25.
The former Alias star, 53 explained that “two and a half years ago,” she reached out to the Los Angeles Parks Foundation with a simple birthday wish: to plant trees with her kids. Fast forward to today, and those same saplings are now thriving, providing shade and beauty to the park.
“Here are our trees, all grown up,” Garner wrote, alongside pics and videos of her digging, planting and staking young trees.
“I love trees; trees are my favorite people,” she added.
Fans and celeb friends quickly flooded the comments with love. Tracee Ellis Ross gushed, “Amazing. Trees are my favorite people too,” while Reese Witherspoon chimed in, “This is a perfect idea! So inspiring!”
