Jennifer Aniston has been opening up about her spiritual side. In a recent Vanity Fair cover story, for example, the 56-year-old explained the crystals in her $21 million Los Angeles house — amethyst for inner peace, white crystal for purity — as well as incense to keep stress at bay. “In here,” she said of her home, “there should be no nerves.”

The good vibes aren’t all. On the Sept. 12 episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, the Friends alum shared that she’s been exploring her past lives. After her Rumor Has It costar Shirley MacLaine convinced her that the two had been a mother and daughter in a previous incarnation, Jen was sold. “I think it’s why we had such an instant bond,” she told host Drew Barrymore.
Curious, Jen revealed that she’d attended a past-lives regression retreat on the 91-year-old’s ranch in New Mexico. Laughing, Jen admitted, “Which sounds crazy when I say it like that!” (She teared up when she noted that her beloved dog Norman died while she was away on the 2011 trip.)

While some may roll their eyes at the Morning Show star’s woo-woo ways, boyfriend Jim Curtis takes her ideas seriously — yet another reason their monthslong relationship is still going strong. A source tells Star the 49-year-old self-described “transformational coach” and hypnotherapist is all in when it comes to other dimensions of reality. “They connect spiritually,” says the insider. “She understands where he’s coming from, and vice versa.”
